Doula Continuing Education Workshops
Monday, September 12 · 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Three Sisters Midwifery Care
406 Fulton Street, Suite 513, Troy, NY
Heidi Ricks, LM, CPM and Maureen Murphy, LM(VT), CPM of Three Sisters Midwifery Care will facilitate monthly continuing education workshops for doulas who want to sharpen their skills, and expand their education about the art and science of being with women and families during the childbearing year.
We will meet the 2nd Monday of every month from 6:30-9:00 at Three Sisters, 406 Fulton Street, Suite 513, Troy, NY. Each month we will explore a new topic.
September 12: Getting Started – learn about how to set up a doula practice. You will learn where to start, how to plan your life around birth, resources available to women and families, and much more! We will also decide on future topics at this first meeting, so if you are an experienced doula, this meeting may still be of interest to you. Come and share your own experiences with new doulas, get inspiration for the work you do, and let us know what the gaps are in your education so we can help you fill those in!
Tuition: $35 each workshop
$180 if you pay for 6 months in advance
Please RSVP via email or phone: threesistersbirth@gmail.com or call Maureen at 229-6541.
